“As an HVAC company owner I realize that it’s important to have a deep understanding of the software you’re using, or at the very least at a basic level so that your company can function. I had neither of those on the accounting side of Service Titan. I literally drank from a fire hydrant learning the program when we first brought it into our company. Most everyone around me already had the experience I lacked in Service Titan, so day to day operations was a breeze for them. Some features I picked up rather quickly and actually enjoyed, but Accounting seemed insurmountable. I toiled and fretted over the fact that I was missing a large chunk of education in the Accounting feature and quite frankly I didn’t understand any of it. I was slowly getting further and further behind. I randomly made a comment in a Facebook group seeking help and Jess from Titan Advising Gurus delivered a SOP to help me try to sort out the mess. Admittedly I let it sit there in my inbox for several weeks believing that I would never be able to get through the steps and really understand what needed to be done to get our accounting lined out. When I had finally had enough of the thoughts of “batch, post, export” running through my head and being too scared to tackle it, I made the call and asked for help. Jess was so kind and encouraging through that initial conversation that I felt comfortable enough to commit to a training package and we made plans to start right away. I was assigned to Kim because I was told she was the one who mostly handled accounting. I had already psyched myself up for working with Jess so I was a little intimidated of starting fresh with someone else but I was welcomed immediately and really hit it off with Kim. She was so kind and professional and really took her time with me to make sure I understood what was going on. By the end of my 10 hours of training that was spread out over about 5 weeks I felt like I had someone in my corner cheering for my accomplishments in training. This is my first full week on my own and I can safely say I feel comfortable enough to keep us on track with that dreaded batching, posting, and exporting! It’s not quite as intimidating now and that is a GREAT feeling! TL;DR, I would absolutely suggest Titan Advising Gurus to anyone using Service Titan. Their knowledge, coupled with the desire to see you succeed, is worth every penny you’ll spend on yourself and your company!”
